Made in 2025 in honor of the late Carlos Fuente Sr., who would have been 90 years old, Arturo Fuente Don Carlos 90th debuted in one 47 x 5 3/4 vitola. What sets this blend apart is the dual wrapper. A Cameroon wrapper is placed on the cigar, it is aged for one year, then a second Corojo wrapper is applied on top of the Cameroon wrapper. The use of the Nicaraguan Corojo wrapper is a throwback to the original Don Carlos cigars prior to Fuente's first Nicaraguan factory burning down in 1978.
