Founded in 2006 by Dion Giolito, Illusione emphasizes quality and traditional cigar-making techniques. Produced in Esteli, Nicaragua, Illusione The Group of Five utilizes tobaccos he set aside over 3 years ago. While there is much mystery behind the name and the blend, Dio Giolito has stated that there is a high-priming tobacco varietal that hasn't been grown in Nicaragua until recently. There is also Criollo 98 and Corojo 99 in the blend.
